Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Jurixon website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Early Access Programme

The Jurixon Early Access Programme provides early adopters with access to pre-release versions of our software. By participating in the Early Access Programme, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The software is in beta and may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
• Features may change, be modified, or removed without notice
• We may update, modify, or discontinue the Early Access Programme at any time
• Your participation is subject to evaluation and approval by our team
• You will provide feedback to help improve the product

Beta Software Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE EARLY ACCESS PROGRAMME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. JURIXON MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE RELIABILITY, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SOFTWARE.

You understand and agree that:

• The software may not perform as expected in all circumstances
• You should not rely solely on the software for critical legal decisions
• Professional legal judgement should always be applied to AI-generated content
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs

User Responsibilities

As a user of Jurixon services, you agree to:

• Use the software only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms
• Maintain appropriate professional liability insurance
• Not share login credentials or access with unauthorised parties
• Report any bugs, security vulnerabilities, or issues you discover
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Comply with all applicable laws, including POPIA and legal professional regulations

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Jurixon software, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, remain the exclusive property of Jurixon. Your use of our services does not grant you any ownership rights in the software.

Content you create using Jurixon, including contracts and documents, remains your property. You grant us a limited licence to use anonymised and aggregated data to improve our services.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JURIXON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss of data or information
• Legal malpractice claims arising from use of the software
• Any claims by your clients or third parties

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the services shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Confidentiality

Because Jurixon runs entirely offline on your own hardware, we do not have access to your client data or documents. You remain solely responsible for maintaining attorney-client privilege and the confidentiality of your client information.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Early Access Programme at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the software will immediately cease.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
